Trend and Data Assessment
With the capability to download a large variety of blood glucose meters into our computer system we can generate a detailed print out of your self-monitored results or analyze your hand recorded log book as well.  Both records are important and allow us the opportunity to further asses your blood glucose patterns and help you understand how and where to make the most effective changes.

Management of Type 2 Diabetes and Insulin Resistance
Using the latest lifestyle, nutritional and medical treatments, our staff looks forward to helping you manage your insulin resistance and Type 2 diabetes, including issues with cholesterol, blood pressure and weight management.

Intensive Insulin Management & Carbohydrate Counting
People with both Type 1 and sometimes Type 2 diabetes on insulin can benefit from managing their diabetes very intensively. As the result of two important diabetes studies, The Diabetes Control and Complications Trial (1993) and The United Kingdom Prospective Diabetes Study (1998), proved the more your insulin treatment plan can mimic the normal insulin production of a pancreas, the longer you can delay complications and of course as you probably already know . . . feel better. This is a process and we truly enjoy working with our patients to calculate their basal (long acting) insulin, bolus (short acting) insulin and carbohydrate counting skills.

Insulin Pump Therapy
While not for everyone, some patients find that insulin pump therapy is the most effective method for delivering insulin and managing their diabetes. Whether you are just thinking about this form of treatment or have been using a pump for years, our team of certified diabetes educators will work closely with you to maximize the advantages of pump therapy.
