 Catherine Gray, CFO/COO and Co-owner of Diabetes Network, Inc., has an acute understanding of diabetes and years of helping patients with diabetes gain better management of this complicated disease.
Gray's interest in the importance of diabetes heathcare was developed while she worked in hospitals with open heart surgery and medical intensive care patients, where she encountered many people who suffered the ravages of diabetes. Upon leaving her vocation in hospitals, Gray moved to working with outpatients in a variety of management positions for FHP Health Care and Talbert Medical Group. Having responsibility for multi-million dollar budgets provided her with expereience she put to use in starting Diabetes Network. Catherine serves as guest faculty for University of New Mexico School of Nursing and as a consultant to the School of Medicine pediatric endocrinology department holding a weekly clinic at Carrie Tingley Hospital. Catherine is an experienced speaker at the national level on a wide range of diabetes related topics.
Gray was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 1993.
